Powerdown & RAW 4x4 create suspension equipment for commercial trucks & 4x4 enthusiasts.
Powerdown's suspension equipment for commercial trucks was first designed and manufactured in Newcastle, Australia over 40 years ago.
RAW 4x4 suspension for 4x4 end users was created by Powerdown's GM in 1983 and the end user side of the business took off.
Today we're in a 2,000sqm factory/head office in Newcastle where we aim everyday to be suspension equipment market leaders in commercial trucks and 4x4's.
Designing, engineering, assembly all in our Newcastle head office & warehouse. Caring about quality suspension within a team that runs like one big family, which is just how our current Managing Director and father of five likes it. With suspension equipment now reaching New Zealand, South Africa & India growth continues.
We produce quality because we are one big family that challenges each other every day. This makes for a few barnies along the way and awesome products end users can absolutely trust. We like to call the RAW 4x4 shock absorbers "truck tough" given they came from Powerdown technology.
