This is a unique experience, you will drive yourself deep into the wilderness areas of Africa be it Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe or Zambia, backed up by our support vehicle. The philosophy is “do it yourself” as you naturally want to – you drive, you stop and take photographs when you want to, you set up your camp, you cook and clean up, you get yourself through border posts, the works. You don’t want to be mollycoddled, you just want to know that where you are going is going to give you what you want, a challenge, an adventure, a trip to remember. Our support vehicle has all the recovery gear, winch, snatchem straps, puncture repair gear, tow ropes, compressors and more.
On a Self Drive Safari, you get the adventure of doing it yourself but the planning and bookings are done for you. All you have to do is get to the starting point where we will be waiting to take you on your expedition through the remote and magnificent African wilderness. Animals such as elephant, gemsbok, giraffe, lion, leopard, hippo and more roam free. You will also encounter many tribal cultures such as the Himba, Herero, Batswana and Damara. During your adventure you have the security of travelling with a small group and the back up if or when you need it. We understand the local conditions and how to travel Africa. .
